Sepia Tone
The Sepia Tone is the first model of the Gottsu Sepia Tone series. It is made with silicone rubber and resin, a custom composition mixed by Gottsu. The silicone resin resonates very differently from Ebonite, giving the Sepia Tone a unique and interesting tone. It features a bright tone and is easy to blow, making it a good mouthpiece for beginners.
This model is from before I implemented the 5-axis machining process. I developed a blend of silicone resin from which this model is crafted. The goal was to imitate vintage mouthpieces, and I pursued easy blowing for this mouthpiece. I was planning to terminate the model when I introduced Sepia Tone VI. However, many people, especially beginners, love this model, so I continue to make it the same way.
