This is an original Gottsu ligature in which you can fully enjoy a beautiful hammered pattern – the unique texture of a handcrafted piece. When played on, the refined silver features moderate elasticity, rich overtones, and a deep yet gentle tone.

The main body of the ligature is painstakingly hand-forged from a piece of pure silver. The silver body of the ligature is refined and given a unique pattern through hammering, then polished to a beautiful sheen. The screw, which is machined from a rod of vintage brass, has been optimized for both function and tone in aspects including the weight, grooved surface and bell-shaped bore.
